Welcome to the Port City Animation Festival Website!

Short version - You make 'em, we show 'em.

Long version - The Port City Animation Festival is a non-competitive showcase of independent animated films. While we don't offer fancy awards, we only show the ones we really like. That means that if your film is selected, you win. There is a lot of animation going on, but not many places to watch and enjoy it with other people. Sure, you can watch a handful of cartoons on TV or huddle around a computer monitor and watch cartoons on the Internet, but there's really nothing like watching movies at a theater.

Plus, animators are fun to be around. That's why the festival will give people a chance to meet real live animators in person. So, in addition to watching animated films, the audience will get to schmooze with some of people who made them and ask things like, "How do you get them pitchers to move around so good?".

So there you have it. We find the most creative and entertaining shorts, mix 'em all together and show them on a big screen.
